Behind a Christmas Tree

Hiding behind a Christmas tree,

The fire's warm delight,

Ornaments being hung with glee.

Staying in from the Storm's bite.

Giving gifts galore,

Sipping good hot coco,

Staring with adore,

Hanging secret mistle toe.

Handing candy canes out,

Who gets to place the star?

Smiling without doubt.

More ariving by car.

placing beautiful holly,

Coming in from the snow,

People being jolly,

As they come and go.

Watching others play,

Hiding behind a Christmas tree,

You could do this all day,

But you join the scenery.
